Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What is included in a typical grooming session?
A: Everything (Bathing, Brushing, Haircut, Ear Cleaning, Nail Trimming). Anal gland cleaning, teeth brushing, and de-matting are an additional service fee.
Q: At what age may I start grooming my puppy?
A: Light grooming may be started at 3 to 4 months in order to acclimate your puppy to the grooming process and get them comfortable with it. Light grooming consists of a bath, brushing, facial hair trim, and nail trimming.
Q: How often do I need to groom my dog?
A: Our recommendation is every 3 to 4 weeks in order to get your dog accustomed to regular grooming sessions to reduce the dog’s stress and anxiety. Also, your dog will maintain a clean and well maintained appearance.
Q: How do I to maintain my dog’s coat in between grooming sessions?
A: The best thing we recommend is to brush out your dog frequently in order to keep the coat from getting matted and tangled.
Q: How long is a typical grooming session?
A: There’s no single answer for this because it all depends on the size of the dog and the condition of the coat (matted, fleas) as well as how well the dog behaves during the grooming process. A medium size dog will usually take about 1.5 to 2 hours to groom.
Q: Do you groom cats as well?
A: We absolutely do lion cuts for cats as well as shave downs , bathing, brushing, and nail trimming. Our feline friends are just as important to us as our canine friends when it comes to proper coat maintenance.
Q: Are you a mobile grooming service with a fully equipped van?
A: No, we groom on premises at our location or we can come to you and groom inside your home if you can provide us with a comfortable space to set up our equipment. Perhaps in the future as we grow our business, we will provide mobile grooming services.
Q: My pet is very nervous and anxious during grooming. How do you handle such cases?
A: Unlike the classic grooming salons where they take your pets and hold them in a kennel until it's their turn to get groomed, we schedule our grooming sessions by appointment only on an individual basis to ensure that your pet is groomed in a calm and quiet enviroment without other dogs present to avoid the barking or yelping which causes anxiety to your pet. We're very keen and trained to observe body language and know when your pet is comfortable or not.
Q: Why don't you post your prices?
A: Since every dog is different in terms of size, weight, and coat condition, we cannot price grooming for every dog the same until we assess the amount of work and time that will be required to complete the job,
